An immediate opportunity exists for an experienced Cloud DevOps Specialist to join a high-impact, internal platform engineering team on a 6-month rolling contract.

Working as an internal consultant, you will maintain core delivery infrastructure, build reusable automation frameworks, and actively mentor wider developer teams on modern platform practices.

Key Technical Focus
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Automation & IaC: Deep expertise in Ansible / Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) scripting and reusable Terraform template delivery.
  • CI/CD & Tooling: Administration, patching, and maintenance of developer toolsets, including GitHub Runners, Nexus, Selenium Grid, and Grafana/Prometheus monitoring.
  • Core Systems: Solid Linux/RHEL administration, cloud networking fundamentals, and scripting capabilities (PowerShell, Python, or Shell).
What We Are Looking For
  • SDLC Background: Prior experience as a software developer or strong exposure to the SDLC to engage effectively with internal development teams.
  • Platform Evangelist: Ability to communicate clearly, drive automation adoption, and mentor engineers across the business.
  • Pragmatic Deliverer: A hands-on, reliable practitioner who balances technical execution with practical outcomes.
Contract Details & Process
  • Duration: 6-month rolling contract (long-term continuity needed)
  • Rate: ~$130/hour (negotiable based on experience)
  • Availability: As soon as possible start required
