About the Role
Join a high-performing project team delivering a high-profile Business Process Re-design initiative for a major public sector organisation.

While technical system impact remains part of the picture, this role is explicitly focused on business process re-engineering, service design thinking, and leading stakeholders through decision-making and meaningful change. We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst who brings exceptional empathy, facilitation skill, and a collaborative approach—someone who takes people on a journey rather than applying a "hammer and nail" methodology.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Process Optimisation & Redesign: Lead complex end-to-end current-state and future-state process mapping, scoping, options analysis, and operational business impact assessments.
  • Operating Model & Service Design: Apply operating model and service design thinking to translate legislation, policy, and regulatory rules into practical operational processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation: Drive collaborative workshops and requirements elicitation across diverse, multi-disciplinary business groups.
  • Systems Connection: Bridge the gap between business process transformation and core systems, ensuring system capability changes align with redesigned business workflows.
  • Change & Adoption Leadership: Work closely with teams experiencing significant change, building rapport and trust to make people feel comfortable and supported throughout the transition.

Must-Have Experience & Skills
  • 7+ Years of BA Experience: A strong track record as a BA, with a significant portion dedicated specifically to Process Re-engineering and Redesign.
  • Regulatory & Governed Environments: Demonstrated experience working within regulatory, compliance, government, or highly governed operational settings.
  • Policy to Process Translation: Proven ability to translate complex business rules, policies, and statutory regulations into clear operational workflows.
  • High-Empathy Stakeholder Engagement: Outstanding interpersonal skills with a warm, open, and collaborative approach to change management and adoption.
  • Core BA Toolkit: Expertise in end-to-end process mapping (Visio or similar), business change analysis, and structured elicitation methodologies.
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Direct experience in public sector organisations or working directly with regulatory bodies.
  • Experience applying Lean, BPM, continuous improvement, or service design frameworks.
  • Familiarity with decision modelling and business rules analysis
