About the company
An established and fast-growing fin-tech organisation based in Wellington. They develop world-leading technology and work on real problems, making contributions to society across the globe.
About the role and the team
In this role, you'll be a part of the wider engineering team. You'll have a focus on ensuring the internal and customer-facing applications are deployed to modern Cloud infrastructure (primarily Google Cloud). You'll be working with team leads to ensure upcoming projects meet infrastructure capabilities and proactively finding and exploring better ways to improve and streamline the DevOps lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines, GitOps processes, and deployment automation!
About YOU
Experience and knowledge of Cloud Platforms (ideally Google Cloud, or AWS) - at least three years.
Experience with GitHub ecosystem, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
You have some networking skills - VPCs, Security Groups, DNS, DHCP, IP, Firewall, Switching, Routing, Load-Balancing, etc.
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
About the benefits on top of the great salary
Flexible working arrangements (WFH & hours)
beautiful central Wellington-based office - free snacks, drinks (beer on tap!), barista coffee
Working with a bunch of inclusive, intelligent people who really enjoy going to work
L&D Budget (courses, conferences, training, etc.)
The environment is all about working smart with initiative. Your ideas will be respected and rewarded. You'll be rewarded according to your level of skill, not some matrix designed for large corporations and government departments.
