About the role:

Work on one of the most interesting environments you'll probably ever lay your eyes on (Hint: it involves lasers!). The product runs on bespoke devices you can get your hands on to get your head around them!

They use AI Machine Learning and photogrammetry (we had to google it, too…) to change how their people do their work for the better. The work you'll be doing keeps people from harm's way and helps them move on from the monotony of doing work the old-fashioned way.

About the team:

You'll work with an Agile team with various skill bases (software development, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, user interface design, etc.). 

Sounds serious – but they're always up for a game of Foosball, a mountain bike ride or popping out of their CBD office to grab lunch. They're a close team who encourage individuality and self-expression.

About you:

You'll be self-motivated and highly skilled in Automation Test Engineering, with a mind for maths, science, and the techy stuff.

You'll also be:

  • Able to build high-quality Automated Test environments

  • A positive communicator

  • Experienced working in an Agile team

The must-haves:

  • Self-motivated and highly skilled 

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a Test Automation Engineer 

  • Able to understand system requirements and design tests that measure performance in real-world situations. 

  • Capable of testing across different platforms. 

  • Master of QA processes, reporting and presentation of data. 

  • Able to work with others outside the development team to understand and replicate bugs. 

  • Proven experience with Selenium and Selenium WebDriver with expertise in at least one language binding (preferably Typescript/ Javascript, Python ) 

The nice-to-haves:

  • Previous experience implementing and maintaining test automation strategy, tools and processes. 

  • Test Management Platforms (E.g. Test Rail) 

  • Experience working with offshore development and testing teams 

  • Source control tools (Git and Bitbucket) 

  • API testing (E.g. Postman)
