About the role

This role is a hands-on Senior Developer to join their Tech Squad, enhancing and developing their API platform as they continue on a path of API first architecture. We are looking for someone with experience developing and integrating with server-side APIs. Play a significant role in ensuring that the technical procedures, tools and ultimately the code produced by the applications team is high calibre.

Duties

  • Provide technical leadership for the team

  • Ensure the code is of a high caliber

  • Focuses and contributes towards ongoing improvements within the workplace

  • Work alongside Architects to help develop an applications platform roadmap

​

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ year’s experience as a developer with majority coding in Ruby on Rails

  • Experience with server-side API development

  • Industry experience working with AWS

  • Familiar with Agile Scrum

  • Understanding of test automation frameworks (Cypress) would be an advantage
