You will be at the forefront of enterprise-level cybersecurity initiatives. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust assurance, accreditation, and certification processes. Your expertise will be pivotal in identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring the organisation remains secure against cyber threats.
Assurance and Accreditation: Lead the setup of assurance, accreditation, and certification processes to validate the security and compliance of systems and infrastructure.
Risk Identification: Proactively identify potential cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities in the technology environment through comprehensive assessments and audits.
Management: Manage the information security work program and security improvement journey.
Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and action plans to safeguard critical assets.
Compliance: Ensure cybersecurity practices align with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of security awareness and risk mitigation.
Reporting: Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports to the SLT, outlining the status of assurance, accreditation, and risk management efforts.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
A deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
At least five years of experience in an Information Security role.
Experience in setting up assurance, accreditation, and certification processes.
Strong analytical skills for identifying and evaluating risks.
Proficiency in risk mitigation strategies and incident response.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM would be a plus.
