​This new role is a vital member of the Engineering department, producing high quality, innovative web, mobile and desktop applications that will change the way their customers do their work for the better.

The role is responsible for developing and improving the architecture for the product line. This includes communicating the overall architecture of solutions to developers and key stakeholders, working with the development team to ensure that the software is being developed in line with the overall architectural vision.

The Company

They're the market leader in their niche field and have expanded recently in the AI/Machine Learning space.   You'll be working with 3D modelled geospatial solutions alongside hardware and software teams.  

The Role

You are responsible for architecting solutions to customer problems as defined in Epics agreed and prioritized by Product Managers within an Agile environment, working closely with Agile development teams and relevant stakeholders.

About You

  • Motivated, proactive and self-managing - able to take on exciting challenges and create awesome solutions.

  • Able to understand system requirements/design and communicate solutions at an architectural level that will meet these requirements.

  • A master of modern web technologies, client and server-side.

  • Positive communicator and keen to work with Agile teams.

  • Experience with Typescript, NodeJS, RESTful APIs.

  • Linux, AWS & Docker expertise

  • Interested in cool technology.

  • A minimum of 5 years Solution Architect experience

  • Variety of DB expertise (GIS, SQL, NoSQL)

  • Other essential experiences and technologies you will have worked with will include:
     - Data-modelling
     - AWS Architecture
     - Geospatial systems and mapping
     - AI/Machine Learning
     - IaC
     - C#, Python, Android or Java
