About the Company
Our client is a growing tech business that’s all about making payroll simple for small organisations. They’ve been building tools that take the stress out of managing people, things like timesheets, rostering, payments, and compliance.
They’ve built a strong presence in New Zealand and are now expanding into Australia, creating easy, end-to-end payroll solutions for micro-businesses that don’t have many good options.
The Role
As the product and customer base continue to grow, so does the engineering team. We’re looking for developers who enjoy solving real problems, care about building thoughtful software, and want to work on tools that genuinely help people.
You’ll primarily work with TypeScript, Vue.js, and PostgreSQL, with opportunities to get involved in other areas and projects as the business evolves.
About You
You’ve got experience in a professional development environment, so you know what it means to deliver on deadlines, collaborate with product and other teams, and keep projects moving in the right direction.
We’re after someone at senior level (or close to it) who’s comfortable across multiple parts of the stack — from front-end and integrations to middleware and backend. You don’t need to know it all, but you’re confident learning and contributing wherever needed.
